For Adwords, you should learn to create, manage and improve a few Adwords Campaigns. For Google Analytics, you should know how it works, the key metrics and reports available in it, and how it integrates with other products.
3. Attempt Exam-style questions
One of the most effective ways to pass Google Partners Exams is to practice answering exam style questions. Since these certification exams are free and can be given any number of times, some online PPC resources suggest that you simply take an actual Adwords exam, just to understand what kind of questions are asked, and how to prepare for them. You can also attempt Adwords practice tests from third-party test providers such as iPass, Way To Exam and GyaniAkash. You can also find practice test questions on Google Analytics test site.
4. Give the Google Partners Exam in a quiet place
Although you can take the Google Certification exams from anywhere, anytime, it’s advisable to treat it as an actual exam, and take it from a quiet place, to aid better concentration. Remember, these exams have a time limit and you need at least 80% to pass, which can be tough for some people.
5. Read the questions carefully
This might sound like a no-brainer but it is still important to keep in mind. Read the questions carefully! If possible, read each question more than once, to understand what they’re asking. Remember, you can’t skip a question and come back to it later, nor change your answer once you submit it. So you need to get it right, the first time itself.
6. Watch out for trick questions
Like any other exam, Google Certification Exams also have their share of trick questions, you need to watch out for. Such questions may have many good answers, but you’ll need to select the best answer among them.
